And the winner is… Warrens Group!
2019 is really shaping up to be our year. Warrens Group was nominated anonymously for the British Renewable Energy Awards 2019 and shortlisted for both the ‘Low Carbon Transport’ and ‘Sustainability’ awards. Hosted in London, a team of directors and employees attended the ceremony and were proud to be announced worthy winners of the ‘Low Carbon Transport Award 2019’. A fantastic prize for a fantastic team.
But that’s not all. We were also shortlisted in the categories of ‘Independent Operator of the Year’ and ‘Food Waste Initiative’ at the NRA (National Recycling Awards) 2019, and we were lucky enough to bring home another BIG WIN of ‘Independent Operator of the Year’.
Our success is down to the hard work and outstanding effort of all staff, stakeholders and customers at Warrens Group and Warrens Emerald Biogas. With your support and determination, we have succeeded in propelling the company to where it is today.
Director Adam Warren comments: “This is only the beginning, and we look forward to continuing our journey of innovation and success. We’ve already started our next expansion phase for the plant. There’ll be more to come on this with some exciting snippets over the coming week”
Alongside our awards, Warrens Group has also been recognised as one of the country’s most inspirational SMEs. The North East has been identified as a hotspot for growth and we are proud to represent the region, being listed in the Business Live online publication. Once again this is testament to our customers, staff, stakeholders and the wider community.
